A shocking disclosure regarding her sex life has been made by Jennifer Coolidge.
The 60-year-old talked about the popularity of the 1999 film American Pie and revealed that her notorious character Jeanine helped her sleep with 200 people.
Seann William Scott’s character Stifler, who has an affair with Eddie Kaye Thomas’ character Paul Finch, is performed by Coolidge in the bawdy comedy.
While Coolidge is also well-known for her work in Legally Blonde and most recently in HBO’s White Lotus, she claimed in an interview with Variety that American Pie helped her gain some notoriety.

“I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie,” she revealed. “There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
The actress from Legally Blonde claimed that her bedroom actions weren’t the only thing that garnered “particular attention.”
“Maybe I got this special attention because people saw me as Stifler’s Mom or the Legally Blonde woman,” she said. “So if they see something else… People that I could never get in the door – all of a sudden they’re asking me to be part of their things.”
Coolidge’s character, who plays the mother of the Stifler family, engages in sexual activity with her son’s classmate, earning her the moniker “MILF” (Mother I’d want to f***).
In her interview, Coolidge also mentioned how, after so many years of rejection, she developed courage because she believed she had nothing to lose.
“Ten years of my life of auditioning,” she told the publication, adding: “None of it added up to a job. The fear is gone when you’re so used to losing. There’s some freedom in that.”
The actress received her first Emmy nomination for her most recent performance as Tanya McQuoid in White Lotus, and she was the only lead character to earn the position without going through an audition.
“Some jobs, I’m sort of going, ‘Wow, this isn’t worth working for.’ What Mike [White] wrote, I was staying up late every night,” Coolidge admitted, referring to the show’s creator who convinced her to be a part of the series.
The actor from A Cinderella Story admitted that she almost turned down the role. She is currently preparing to appear in its second season, which premieres in October 2022.
“I have done one thing really right in my life,” she said. “I’ve picked great friends. If Mike was never successful, and we just did ‘White Lotus’ as a play in a little theater where everyone paid 10 bucks to see it, it would still be one of the greatest things that ever happened to me. Because it was a killer job that no one else thought I could do.”
After years of berating herself for her decisions, Coolidge claimed to have regained her confidence. Following her successful part, she is now being pursued other projects.
“People that I could never get in the door – all of a sudden they’re asking me to be part of their things,” she shared.
