With the much-hyped-up scene of Kento Nanami in the recent episode of Jujutsu Kaisen anime, fans seem to be equally disappointed with the censored scenes in the Shibuya Arc in Season 2.
Holy Hell kento really laid the law on this man.. 😂😂

Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Season 2 Episode 12: Fans Are Disappointed With The Censored Manga Scenes
The episode “Blunt Sword,” from Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 12, began with Nanami watching Kiyotaka’s lifeless body on the floor and reflecting on his frustration. The episode depicted a few other violent scenes from the manga, such as Mei Mei brutally murdering a criminal with Ui Ui beside her to keep up her enthusiasm. Yuji and Megumi parted ways after discovering they had separate objectives, such as removing two more barriers and moving Ino to a secure location. The episode concludes with Yuji and Choso meeting at Shibuya Station.
Episode 12 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime was much praised mainly due to the amazing skills that Nanami Kento portrayed, being the Grade 1 sorcerer. The few moments from the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series that were deleted have disappointed fans. For example, When Mei Mei is about to execute the criminal inside the sewer following a sadistic monologue, the scene is cut to Yuji and Megumi.
Only disappointment was mei mei censorship. But that épisode was great! They didn’t show her murder that guy, in the manga this was so cool.

Fans have also complained that Nanami’s first hit was poorly done and that a few additional moments were either deleted or edited incorrectly to avoid revealing extreme traces of violence or blood. Fans have also expressed dissatisfaction with the episode’s camera moves and animations. This could also be the result of the current controversy surrounding Mappa Studio!
Nanami’s first hit was poorly executed, some camera movements were not understood. Other times it seemed like the characters were simply cut out of the background and made to move. the number of extra seconds of focusing on faces, the abuse of slow motion. It already has me exhausted.

The main complaint with Jujutsu Kaisen anime episode 12 was about the fight of Nobara against Haruta. Fans are complaining she is made look more “trash” in the anime than she was in the manga series. The main problem in the scenes of Nobara was her attacks were pathetically slow, and Haruta was casually dodging her attacks; while in the manga series, Nobara was defeated due to her inexperience.
I just hate how pathetic Nobara was in this fight… she was TRASH. Also, this is gonna sound whiny but JJK S2 sacrificed a more detailed artstyle to have a smoother animation but why are they just using slow-mo for every fight? Literally, looks worse at every aspect lol. It wasn’t the case for Hidden Inventory… it’s just in Shibuya. If Choso vs Yuji would look like this then it’ll be disappointing but I doubt it. Hopefully, MAPPA treats their animators better next time 🙂
