While driving at night, drivers can’t notice animals. And thus, so many animals die. More than 4,000 reindeer die every year due to vehicle accidents. This results in $18 million in damage. Now that’s a lot.
Finnish Reindeer Herders Association came up with the idea of using reflective paint on the reindeer’s body. So, when the light hits the paint, the driver will notice the animal and slow down its speed.
The effects of this spray will be much vital when done on the antlers.
