Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao was one of the most-watched boxing matches in recent memory. People from around the world were glued to their screens to see who the winner of the fight will be. However, word is, that the two might be getting closer to a rematch.
If Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao II has to take place, this is the perfect time considering both the boxers are ageing. It is a now or never situation as Pacquiao, 40, is now a senator in The Philippines while Mayweather has moved on to entrepreneurial ventures while making sporadic appearances in the ring.
Mayweather Visits The Philippines
In a surprise move, Floyd “Money” Mayweather dropped by to The Philippines last week. This led to many believe that negotiations for Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao II are taking place. However, that was not the case.

Mayweather was in The Philippines to, err, get a facial from a doctor. A picture posted on Instagram shows him getting treated by Belo with a machine on his face.
Mayweather comments on Mayweather vs Pacquiao II
Will a rematch between these two boxing legends ever happen? Does Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather want another match? When asked this question, he responded by saying:
“Manny Pacquiao is a hell of a fighter. We had a great fight. And we both had great careers. We move on and do other things in life. I’m an entrepreneur. I don’t just box inside the ring. I had a fun time while I was fighting, great time. But you know, I do so many other things. I’m a chameleon.”
This clearly hints at the fact that Mayweather might just be done with boxing for good. Nevertheless, we never say never! Many boxing insiders have commented that a deal is still in the cards but if it has to happen it will happen this year.
