Forbes magazine said that Kanye West was a billionaire a few years ago when it found that Ye was worth $1.3 billion.
Ye’s most recent series of controversial and offensive comments led Balenciaga, Adidas, and Vogue to end his endorsement deals. Ye’s talent agency and bank have also stopped working with him.
Forbes has recalculated how much Ye is worth now that all of this has happened, and it says that he is only worth $400 million.
Which is more than you or I, but it’s still a long way from a billion.
Gap also announced that it would pull all Yeezy Gap products from stores and shut down the website of the brand.
The month before, Kanye decided to get out of his contract with Gap.
Gap, on the other hand, has decided to get rid of any evidence that they ever did business with Ye and just take the loss rather than put the unsold items from their failed venture on the clearance rack.
It’s something that more and more organizations are making the decision to do.
