With Season 9 ending in about two weeks, Epic is all set to introduce Fortnite Season 10 on August 1, 2019. Fortnite is undoubtedly one of the most played games all over the world and generated record revenue of about $2.8 billion the past year.
This means that Fortnite Season 9 will be around a little bit longer compared to the other seasons. A typical season lasts around ten weeks but current season’s extension means that it will last for about twelve weeks.

Fortnite World Cup pushes Season 10
The Fortnite World Cup finals are going to take place at the end of July. This is the reason why the current season will last two more weeks. Epic is making sure the finalists get an even field to play.
Every new season in Fortnite starts off with some major changes. The start of a season brings in some map changes and also affect the gameplay. This, in turn, affects viable strategies and gameplay.
What’s coming with the new Season?
The teaser for Fortnite Season 10 shows a giant eye near the Polar Peak mountain. There is also something happening inside of the volcano near the Pressure Plant. The cabins and walkways are now gone and one can clearly see the under-construction giant robot.
Some in-game posters also ask players to take the high ground. Speculations indicate towards an apocalyptic future theme which might be the core of Season 10. There is no telling what Epic plans to do but players should keep an eye on the Pressure Plant for hints.
