Fuerza Regida is a regional Mexican band with Mexican American roots, hailing from San Bernardino, California. Its members include lead singer Jesús Ortíz Paz, backing vocalist and twelve-string guitarist Samuel Jaimez, rhythm guitarist Khrystian Ramos, sousaphone player José “Pelón” García, and tololoche player Moisés López.
In March of 2015, the group Fuerza Regida was formed, with a name that translates to “strength” and “govern.” Initially a cover band in their local area, they have since released multiple tracks, including their hit song “Pariente” in May of 2023, featuring a collaboration with Myke Towers.
Origin
In 2015, Fuerza Regida was established in San Bernardino, California as a cover band. Two years later, they launched a YouTube channel featuring their own original songs in addition to cover performances. Their videos gained a decent following and they quickly amassed thousands of subscribers on their channel.
In 2018, their initial hit “Radicamos en South Central” gained popularity on YouTube and caught the interest of Ramón Ruiz, lead singer of Legado 7 and founder of Lumbre Music. Ruiz reached out to Jesús Ortiz Paz, lead singer of Fuerza Regida, and extended a deal for them to join Lumbre and be signed to the Rancho Humilde label.

Jesus Ortiz
The lead vocalist of the band is Jesus Ortiz. Despite having a long career in the music world, he gained recognition when he joined the band. Jesus was born on May 13, 1997, in Sinaloa, Mexico, but his family relocated and made their home in California.
