At her child’s school field day, a mother did something embarrassing that made her and the other people watching turn bright red, but it wasn’t from the physical activity.
The South West News Service says that a recent video shows 36-year-old Katie Hannaford from Basildon, Essex, England, getting down on her knees and mooning a crowd of young students and their parents. South West News Service told people about what happened.
Hannaford told SWNS that on June 15, her daughter, who was only 8 years old at the time, forced her to join the relay.
The owner of the home goods company also said that she was “not sporty” and that she knew she would come in last.
Hannaford gets the race started but quickly falls behind. When she finally falls on her face in the grass, her knee-length dress flips up over her head, showing her black thong and white buttocks.
“I just tripped over my own feet. I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs! I’m so clumsy,” Hannaford insisted to SWNS.
“I was humiliated at the time, but it is what it is!” she continued. “I flashed my underwear, which is obviously embarrassing but you just have to own it.”
Luckily, she can find humor in a bad situation.
