As the final season of the epic saga, Game of Thrones, approaches ever closer, most of us are getting nostalgic. After 8 years of turmoil, confusion, heartbreaks, and awe-inspiring visuals – GoT is finally coming to an end.
Not that we are not curious to see who finally sits on the Iron Throne, there is a bit of sadness mixed in. It is, after all, the end of an era.
Game of Thrones: Iconic moments
Most of us are binging on the previous seasons before the first episode of the final season airs. Many things have changed, but many have not. Tyrion has grown into a kickass leader, Daenerys is more powerful than ever, and who knew the Bastard of Stark will be the long lost Targaryen prince.
Cersei is the same spiteful, vindictive, power-obsessed Lannister as ever, but there may be a redeeming arc in sight for the Kingslayer, Jamie.
Most of us use Torrents and HBO GO accounts which are all fine in their own right, but if you want to enjoy the series in a grand manner that it deserves, there are better ways.
Where to get the HD versions of GoT
The Blu-ray box set of Game of Thrones seasons 1 to 7 is available on Amazon. Along with the HD versions, the set also features digital copies, so you can fulfill your lust for explosions and dragons whenever you want. It currently retails for $149.99, less than the MRP $170. Not a bad deal at all.
If you are a purist though, wait a few more months. HBO will be releasing Game of Thrones Ultra HD versions in 4-K Blu-Ray pretty soon.
The final season for HBO’s magnum opus is set to premiere on April 14.
