Game of Thrones Season 8 ended a few weeks ago and it was quite a spectacle. Many fans were heartbroken that their favourite series had come to an end. But, worry not! There is a Game of Thrones prequel that is going to come up in a few months time.

The sheer mystery and hype that surrounded the Night King were destroyed in a second in the last season. Many fans were disappointed because they killed a crucial character without a conclusion. As we had seen previously (in one of Bran’s visions), the Children of the Forest had created the first Night King. They did this to protect themselves from the First Men. But, things went haywire and the Night King started to build his own army.

Every house in Westeros has its own origin story. There were a lot of characters who were mentioned in Game of Thrones from time to time. But, their direct representation was never shown. So, if the prequel is going to show the story set thousands of years before the events of A Song of Ice and Fire, then the houses will not be shown. We might get to see the humans in their nomadic forms. And their further evolution into the hierarchical/free folk division.
The Age of Valyria in Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones has mentioned many times about the age of Valyria. It was a time of great prosperity in Westeros. They were mostly responsible for Valyrian Steel swords, the High Valyrian dialect and the Dragon Bonds. It was considered to be the most powerful entity in Westeros until the Doom. The Valyrian Age received a mysterious demise in George R.R.Martin’s books.
The Children of the Forest
The Children of the Forest interacted with Bran for a brief period of time in season 4. But, we could not know about their culture. So, in the upcoming prequel, we might get to see their conflicts with the First Men.
The Wall
In the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, we might get to see how the Wall was actually built. We have heard many stories about Bran the builder actually built the whole thing. But, in this prequel, we might witness how the events unfolded and led to the building of the Wall.
