Game of Thrones Season 8 Cast ASOIF
Game of Thrones is a show where you can always expect unexpected deaths. For now, we don’t know who is returning for Game of Thrones Season 8. Although, we know that Cersei Lannister is going to be back for Game of Thrones Season 8. Lena Headey had hinted in a recent interview that her characters makes it to the end of season 8.
But, what is going to be happen between her and Jaime in the upcoming season? They finally had falling out and he left the Red Keep. Now, he could either go to the Wall to join the battle or tell Jon and Dany about Cersei’s intentions.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau told the IndieWire that his character is probably going to try to get up to some sort of commander, whether it’s Jon or Dany. He also pointed out that Jaime can be seen hiding his golden. And this shows that he is in enemy territory. And if Jaime survives, will he go back to Cersei?
Jaime had said that we never really finish with our family even if we want to. And maybe it is going to be the same too. Cersei will always be a part of Jaime is, even if it means that he will kill her.
Ser Davos is also going to be in Game of Thrones Season 8 and he can’t believe it! He told Esquire, “I feel that I am going for the Wimbledon final. And you know how this show is. And now that I am in the final season, I want to be in the final episode as well.”
Watchers on the Wall
There is also some word on the street (Watchers on the Wall) that Game of Thrones producers was looking for two young actors. A girl character who seemed very similar to Lyanna Mormont and boy character who would be a poor child. Another casting could end up being important and that is Daario Naharis being the leader of the Golden Company.
But, Watchers on the Wall reported that Mark Rissman is going to play the role of Harry Strickland who is the leader of the Golden Company. The popular fan site also reported that a new casting has been made; Irish actress Danielle Galligan. Galligan is going to play the role of Sarra. And the only Sarra that we know about is one of Walder Frey’s many granddaughters.
And one of our favourite characters who is going to return for Game of Thrones Season 8 is Ghost! Joe Bauer, Game of Thrones visual effects supervisor confirmed that Ghost will have plenty of screen time in Season 8.
Game Of Thrones sequels, prequels, spin-offs and movies
Of course, Game of Thrones will always be the one and only. But, is there a possibility for a sequel or even better, a movie? And Naomi Watts had recently confirmed that she has signed up for a sequel!! But, actually, it’s a prequel. Till now, we just know that Naomi will play a charismatic socialite who hides a dark secret. The plot of the prequel will revolve around how the world went into darkness after the decline of the Age of Heroes.
Of course, there could be several storylines for the Game of Thrones prequel. They are Aegon’s conquest, the Dance of the Dragons, The Long Night, The Valyrian Freehold, The BlackFyre Rebellion or Maegor The Cruel.
But, all of that is in the future, For now, let’s just focus on the final season returning to your screens on 14 April 2019!
