Game of Thrones season eight episode 3 is going to be emotionally heavy for all of us. Since it is going to feature the long-awaited battle sequence, it is obvious that many are going to perish. But, since the night is full of terrors and the show is filled with spoilers and predictions, we have one for you. So, Melisandre might have already spoiled two deaths back in season 7.
What happened in Game of Thrones season 7?
The trailer of Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 shows the army of the dead on the battlefield. So, who is going to die and who is going to survive? But, let’s go back to a scene from season 7 which had predicted two deaths. And one of them might happen in the upcoming episode. The Red Lady, Melisandre, disappeared in season 7 after bringing back Jon Snow to life. But, she promised Lord Varys that she will return to the strange land to die. (Just like him)
Before she left, Varys had told Melisandre not to return to Westeros. “I am not sure if you will be safe there,” he said.
But Melisandre assured him that she will return for one last time. She said that she had to die here, just like him. Of course, Varys was stunned by this revelation.
Who is going to die in Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3?
In Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3, Varys might be one of the victims of the White Walkers. Since the battle of Winterfell is about to commence, there are going to be victims in and off the battlefield. Varys is going to be down at the crypts. Now, if you remember one of the trailers of Game of Thrones season 8, there was a shot of Varys in the crypts, looking super worried. The crypts have been marked as a safe haven for everyone. But, it is highly unlikely that everyone in there is going to survive without a scratch.
If the army of the dead makes it into the crypts, Varys is sure to die. There goes one of the deaths predicted by Melisandre. She has not appeared in this season as of now. So, it seems she is going to die a little later. Carice Van Houten, who plays Melisandre in the show had said that she was surprised by her character’s ending. And that too, in a good way.
