Episode 5 of Season 8 of Game of Thrones saw Jaime and Cersei get crushed under the Red Keep. But is she still alive along with her unborn baby?
GOT fans were a little disappointed to see Cersei die the way she did in episode 5. Daenerys Targaryen set the entire King’s Landing on fire with Drogon’s help. We also saw Jaime return to King’s Landing to save Cersei and their unborn baby. But it was all in vain as he couldn’t make it in time.
Cersei got off really easily and the fans didn’t get what they want. It could have been better if Arya or Jon Snow got to kill her, but Daenerys stole the golden opportunity. But what if we find out that Cersei actually made her way out of King’s Landing and is plotting another war against Daenerys in Game of Throne season 8 episode 6. As unlikely as it seems, it may turn out to be true.

If this turns out to be true, then the fans can hope that Cersei may get the end she deserves in GOT finale. We never got to see if she actually died and the fans can’t believe it till they see it with their own eyes. After all, it’s Cersei and she always has her way.
The prophecy regarding Cersei’s death didn’t turn out to be true. She didn’t die at the hands of the Valonqar. Many Game of Thrones season 8 episode 6 viewers even took to Twitter to complain about it. Sadly, they didn’t get to see the end they waited for so long. One of them said,
Is that really how Cersei dies? That’s it? Nobody gets justice, she’s just another body under all of the ashes and rubble?? Really? I’m so disappointed.
