Game of Thrones Season 8 is already here and the first two episodes have been quite overwhelming. They have already created a lot of buzz and people have placed their bets on who’s going to sit on the throne.
Apart from Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, there is one more contender who has the possibility. And that is Sansa Stark. After all, she has been quite the survivor.

Daenerys Targaryen has always been after the Iron Throne. She raised her dragons, became the ruler of Essos, took command over the Unsullied and now is the queen of Winterfell.
But, Jon’s new revelation as the true heir to the Iron Throne has besmirched her plans. Amidst all of this, is it possible for Sansa to ultimately sit on the throne?
Will Sansa Stark sit on the Iron Throne in Game of Thrones Season 8?
Spoiler theories say that Sansa is one of the favorites to sit on the Iron Throne and rule Westeros after the Game of Thrones season 8 ending. Oddschecker has confirmed that Sansa Stark has received 2/1 odds to win and Jon Snow has 11/2 chances. Oddschecker collects data from different bookies and they have confirmed that there has been a 21.4% rise in bets for Sansa Stark as the winner.
Ali Thrupp from Oddschecker has said that after the Battle of Winterfell gets over, she might be the survivor. After all, she is not going to be on the frontlines. In the second episode of Game of Thrones Season 8, we saw that she wants the North to be free of any outside ruler. So, she is definitely not bending the knee to Daenerys after the battle is over.
What are the odds for others?
But, let’s not stick to that possibility altogether. There are other contenders as well. Gendry has a chance of 4/1, the Night King is at 18/1. Also, Bran Stark, who is the Three-eyed Raven now, has a 2/1 chance of sitting on the Iron Throne.
I guess we’ll soon find out if any of having any chances at all in Game of Thrones season 8. Considering the army of the dead is larger than ever and the Night King is vicious.
