In the show Game of Thrones Season 8, Arya Stark has been a major part. First, she killed the Night King and then proceeded to her next target Cersei. The fans are almost convinced that Arya Stark is Azor Ahai and not Daenerys or Jon Snow. George RR Martin’s books are proof of this.
Melisandre’s Prophecy
Arya has been a fan favorite since the very beginning of GOT. She stole the limelight after killing the Night King single-handedly. Since then, fans are convinced that Arya Stark is Azor Ahai, who was prophesied to save the world. Melisandre was mistaken twice, first with Stannis and then she dithered over Jon Snow.
One of the Game of Thrones fans tweeted,
According to the prophecy, Azor Ahai or ‘The Prince or Princess that who was promised’ is the saviour in the religion of light that would be born ‘amidst salt and smoke’ to combat an impending darkness. Arya Stark rose from ashes in #GOTS8E5. She is the one.

Arya was born anew amidst the wreckage after watching Daenerys burn King’s Landing ruthlessly. The place is situated right next to a salty sea. According to the prophecy, Azor Ahai will be reborn as a champion sent by the Lord of Light. Azor Ahai would stand against the impending darkness and he is he not able to succeed, the world will fail with him.

The Looming Darkness
After the end of the Night King, Daenerys seems to be the only danger in their lives. She mercilessly killed all the innocent people of King’s Landing. We know through Melisandre and other visions, that Azor Ahai will rise when the red star bleeds. There are several dragon eggs hidden in King’s Landing which may finally hatch now. Will this bring more chaos and fear?
Game of Thrones fans will finally get to see who if Arya is Azor Ahai or not. The end is here and the wait won’t be long.
