Will Jon Snow die in Game of Thrones season 8?
The seventh season showed joining of Jon snow with Daenerys Targaryen in his request to defeat the White Walkers and save Westeros from being plunged into an eternal winter.
The latest GoT season 8 trailer shows that there will be an epic battle between the White Walkers and armies of Winterfell and Dany. But we’re not sure what will be the outcome of this battle. Will Jon Snow die in his attempt to save humanity?
True parentage of Jon Snow revealed
We may not be sure about his death but we do know that he will learn a major truth about his parents in GoT season 8. Season 7 saw the truth revealed to Samwell Tarly and Brandon Stark. Jon is actually the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, who married off in secret after Rhaegar annulled his marriage with Elia Martell.
Jon is, therefore, the true heir to the Iron Throne, a fact he is still unaware of.
Rumours also suggest that John may actually be the long-awaited Azor Ahai – the prince who was promised.
Game of Thrones season 8 episode 1 releases on April 14 on HBO.
