Gemma Whelan, the actress who plays Yara Grejoy of House Greyjoy, recently appeared on Sky News for an interview. The 37-year old Game of Thrones cast star spilled some beans about the fate of major characters.
Yara Grejoy – “No One’s Safe”
Gemma attended the morning show for Sky News where she was interviewed by presenter Adam Boulton. Since the first GoT episode has aired, she was free to talk about those things, but she spilled some other secrets too.
She was not clear about her death and didn’t disclose the number of episodes she is in. But when asked about the fate of characters near the end, she wickedly smiled and said, “No one’s safe”.
While the statement could also be a spoiler for Game of Thrones season 8 that the character of Arya Stark is safe until the end. Arya Stark has given the name No One, Gemma could maybe hint towards that, nothing is sure for now.
Other spoilers from the Interview
Yara Greyjoy actress Gema also spoiled her filming experience and working with the actor Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy). She revealed that they rarely get to shoot on a real-life location. Most of the boat scenes include car parking and a lot of green screens.
Gemma further added that she is satisfied with her character arc in Games of Thrones season 8, and is as excited as fans about the remaining episodes. She claimed that she is not aware of other character’s storylines and watch the show as a normal fan.
Game of Thrones season 8 episode 2 airs on Sunday 21 April 9pm, don’t forget to catch it live. The final Season will have a total of six episodes when it finally ends. Stay tuned to Hiptoro for more Game of Thrones spoiler updates and other news.
