Can GTA 6 and Red Dead Redemption come to Stadia?
We are unaware of what titles are being developed by Rockstar currently, but games like GTA 6 or Red Dead Redemption could well be on the cards.
Google recently announced its newest gaming service titled Stadia with a whole host of games incorporated into its cloud gaming library. The full list of games can found here.
Some high-end game studios are part of the list, the likes of Ubisoft, Bethesda and 2K Games will be included in stadia library.
And now Rockstar Games will also make their debut with Stadia.
Rockstar Games subsidiary company Take-Two Interactive has indicated that many of its forthcoming titles might come to Google’s game platform, Stadia.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said that he is “very optimistic” regarding the new streaming service. He also said that he would be more than happy to bring specific titles of their games to consumers.
Zelnick also said
Being able to play our games on any device whatsoever around the world and to do it with low-latency, well, that’s very compelling if that can be delivered.
You have to find that intersection in business models that serve the customer successfully and also serve everyone else who participates in the value chain.
This hints that titles like GTA 6 will make their way to Stadia.
If Rockstar decides to bring GTA 6 to Stadia or some other platform that would be great for fans, but bringing the game won’t be easy.
