“He’s a very charming man who draws Emma into his world, where she falls deeply in love with him. He gets her to a position where she is completely at his mercy, so to speak, and she might live to regret it.”
He added,

Emma, a single mother played by Sally Lindsay, is the focus of Love Rat. After going through a divorce, she decides to go on a trip to Cyprus by herself.
There, she crosses paths with Niko, a charming hotel owner, and they fall in love. Niko eventually proposes that Emma join him in living on the island.
However, when she lends Niko all of her savings, he vanishes with the money and she comes to the realization that she has been tricked.
In 2022, the production team went to Cyprus to shoot Love Rat. The show premiered on March 11, 2024, and is airing for four consecutive evenings on Channel 5.
