A young woman who said she is the missing British girl Madeleine McCann will take a DNA test to find out if she actually is her or not.
As has been reported, a video of a woman who says she “could be Madeleine McCann” was posted on social media last week. Since then, it has gone viral on different sites.
Madeleine McCann vanished from the vacation apartment she was sleeping in with her family in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in 2007. She was only four years old at the time.
The case of the missing person shocked the whole world, and there was a lot of talk about the young girl, who would be 19 years old now, but she has never been found.
In the past few years, a lot of people on the internet have gotten attention because they look like Madeleine McCann. Julia Faustyna, who is 21 years old and goes by the Instagram handle @iammadeleinemcann, is the most recent person to do this.
Julia said that something her grandmother said made her think she might be the girl who went missing years ago. She even posted supposed proof on her account, like a picture of her legs with freckles that look like Madeleine McCann’s.
She even said that she has the same eye problem as the missing girl, who was known to have a mark on her right eye called a coloboma, which is caused by a hole in the structure of the eye.
Julia is so sure of her story that she wrote in her Instagram bio that she wants to take a DNA test because police investigators in the UK and Poland were not taking her seriously.
Now, she says that the McCanns asked her to take a DNA test, and she hopes to talk to them right away in the next few days.
A source says that Julia said she talked to someone in Madeleine McCann’s family and that a DNA test “will be done soon.” She also said this in her Instagram bio.
Also, on her Instagram story, she posted an article that said Kate and Gerry “have reportedly asked for a DNA test after the girl showed “evidence” she is their missing daughter” and wrote over it:
They agreed!!!
Also, someone close to the girl’s parents said that the family believed the girl was dead and “didn’t want to take any chances,” so they were willing to look at any leads. It’s important that they look at everything, and the girl does look like her.
There’s no disputing that. If what she says is true, there is every chance it could be her. It all adds up,
they added.
Even though there is no official confirmation that the McCanns have agreed to the DNA test, the woman’s unproven evidence has attracted over 616K followers on the social media platform, and her story has also gone viral on TikTok.
