When is Goblin Slayer season 2 releasing?
After the successful conclusion of Goblin Slayer season 1 in 2018, fans were left in the dark about season 2. The first season ran for 12 episodes from October to December 2018 and was produced by White Fox Studio. The anime was very well received by fans and was an instant hit. However, after the conclusion of season 1, no official announcement was made about season 2.
On January 31, 2021, it was announced at the GA Fes, that Goblin Slayer will finally get a season 2. Not much information was given after. However, in January this year, it was announced that the anime will be produced by Liden Films instead of White Fox and will air in 2023. This got many fans excited again, and fans started speculating as to when Goblin Slayer season 2 will be released.

The Goblin Slayer season 2 trailer was released by Liden Films on Jan 5th however, no official announcement was made on when the season will start airing. Fans are speculating that the series will mostly air by October this year. The studio is yet to make an announcement on the release date.
What to expect in Goblin Slayer season 2?
Goblin Slayer is a series of Japanese Light Novels written by Kumo Kagyu, and the artwork is by Noboru Kannatsuki. The first Light Novel was published on February 2015, with the English version also being released in December of that same year. The Novel was an instant hit and garnered a lot of fans. Since then, 15 more Light Novels have been published so far.
The first season of the anime follows the events of the first two Novels. It is expected that the Goblin Slayer season 2 will follow the next two or three Novels. Given the popularity of the anime, despite its long hiatus, it is expected to have many more seasons.
The first season follows a young princess who formed her first adventure group. They go inside a cave in order to kill Goblins, but they are suddenly ambushed by a large number of goblins who easily overpower them. When they are not on the brink of giving up, they are rescued by a goblin slayer who quickly kills all the goblins. The goblin slayer and princesses squad go about the cave killing all the goblins. The princess later decides to join the slayer in his future adventures.
