Recently, Engadget leaked us a few hints about the new Pixel 2019 phone and teased that something is coming soon in the next few days. Reports are suggesting that it is the new affordable Pixel 3a phones, along with its price, functions, and specs.
Pixel 3a: Specs and new Features
The upcoming Google Pixel phones will have a new dark mode, premium camera functions and 3 different color variants – Black, White, and Purple. The leaked specs show that Pixel 3a and 3a XL could give a tough competition to Apple, Samsung, and Huawei.

- Screen Size – 5.6-inch for Pixel 3a and 6-inch for Pixel 3a XL
- Display – OLED 1080p Resolution with 441 and 401 ppi for Pixel 3a and Pixels 3a XL

Pixel 3a: Price and Release Date
Google has always maintained high prices for its Pixel series, but it is planning to launch the Pixel 3a as a mid-range affordable phone, so there might be some drop compared to the older version. But it doesn’t mean it will be cheap, it will still belong to the premium affordable smartphone category.
The current reports put the Pixel 3a at $399 and the bigger variant Pixel 3a XL at $479. Also, Google might unveil both the phones over its 2019 I/O worldwide program on May 7th, 2019.
Google Pixel 4 Updates
While the promotions for Pixel 3a are on full speed and Google is gearing up for its launch, there are also a few updates on Google Pixel 4 coming around the end of this year. Reports suggest that Google Pixel 4 could be the answer to Apple’s future flagship iPhone 11.
