The official Gran Turismo movie Twitter page is proud to announce that the movie will exclusively be released in theaters, this coming August.
Ready, set, go! The movie is scheduled to be released on August 11th, 2023.
Gran Turismo Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Movie?
The Gran Turismo movie features a star-studded cast and is based on the story of a gamer who plays the game and wishes to become a real racer.
Archie Madekwe will play the role of Jann Mardenborough, a teen who plays the video game Gran Turismo and indulges in it so much that he aspires to be a race car driver.
Jack Salter, his trainer, will be played by veteran actor David Harbour.
Danny Moore, the motorsport marketing executive, will be played by Orlando Bloom. He is based on Darren Cox, the founder of the GT Academy.
As Jann climbs the ladder to success, his main rival, Matty Davis, shows up because he feels threatened. The role will be played by Darren Barnet.
Nicholas Capa, another racer, will be played by Josha Stradowski, one of Jannn’s other rivals.
Steve Mardenborough (Djimon Hounsou) and Lesley Mardenborough (Geri Halliwell) are Jann’s parents. Daniel Puig will play the role of his brother.
Maeve Courtier-Lilley, Thomas Kretschmann, Emelia Hartford, Pepe Barroso, Richard Cambridge as Felix, and Sang Heon Lee are the other cast members of the Gran Turismo movie.

Mardenborough went to the Gran Turismo Academy competition and beat 90,000 other people to become the third and youngest winner.
The video game of the same name was the inspiration for Mardenborough’s success, and the game will be in the movie as well, though it won’t be the center of attraction in the movie.

Gran Turismo will exclusively be released in theaters on August 11th, 2023.
It may not be available to stream for a few months following its release in theaters, but it should be available by the end of the year. This is because movies usually aren’t available online until three to four months after they come out in theaters.
