Rockstar has been very silent about their events at E3. This silence has lead to the speculation that the studio is planning something, a possible tease or launch of GTA 6.

As the E3 2019 is upon us, the gaming industry is set to go boom. Majority of the eyes are placed on the big and reputable names like Square Enix, CD Projekt Red, and Rockstar Games.
Rockstar keeps mum in E3 2019, GTA 6 release date tease coming soon?
The idea is not far fetched because more than five years have passed since the launch of GTA 5. We and many fans think that the introduction of a new title to the franchise is long overdue.
Gamingbolt reports that gaming analyst Michael Pachter is claiming that GTA 6 will not arrive until 2022. Michael Pachter cited the time gap between the launch of RDR and RDR 2 as an example.
He told Gamingbolt that it took eight years before the RDR 2 was released, so the launch of GTA 6 is highly unlikely. According to him, the best that can happen is that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be released late 2020 or early 2021.
This theory rules out a possible launch of the game in E3 2019. However, fans would get happy even if Rockstar teases the game at E3 2019.
Many people were questioning the prediction of Michale Patcher, but it does lineup with some basic predictions and specs.
As we have covered earlier, GTA 6 is expected to use Ray Tracing as well as highly improved graphics which will require a lot of horsepowers. Only the next-gen consoles can fulfill this requirement.
Interestingly, all rumors and leaks are hinting that the next-gen console will not hit the market until 2021. This prediction runs parallel to the theory of Patcher.
So fans do understand that Rockstar wants to take their time before they release the game.
