GTA 6 is one of the most awaited games for which fans are waiting for six long years. The previous version, GTA 5 was released in 2013 and there have been no updates after that.
The open world free navigation was created by ‘Rockstar Games’ and is available on all major platforms including PS4, Xbox One, and PCs. The makers have confirmed that they are developing the sixth GTA game, but there is no update on a release date. Why it is taking so long for GTA 6 to come out, here are the possible reasons.
Sony PS5 Exclusive
Most of the rumors state that Rockstar will be purchased by Sony or either it controls major stake in it.It will make the GTA 6 game title to be an exclusive for the upcoming Sony PlayStation 5. Sony has invested so much on the PS5, it won’t be a surprise if GTA 6 comes out with it next year as an exclusive game. While there is no specific release date for PS5 itself, GTA 6 getting a release before that is very less probable.
GTA 6 will be a Streaming Game
Google recently launched its latest cloud gaming technology Stadia which streams the game without any consoles. It seems there are big plans for Google Stadia, as it is the future of the gaming world. Some of the latest rumors suggest that Google has made a deal with Rockstar to turn GTA 6 into a streaming game for their Stadia service. While there is no concrete evidence behind it, it could be a possibility based on the Google Stadia event.

Grand Theft Auto has always kind of a sexist game, with girls roaming around in skimpy outfits, and getting into your car for money. The society was free back then, no one raised any issue over women objectification. But in the last few years, Feminism and Me Too movement, our culture and society is totally changed.
