Florence Welch, the “superhero-obsessed” English singer “lost it” when the Guardians characters started dancing to one of the band’s most famous songs. Check out the wholesome video clip below:
Now that the last James Gunn Marvel movie is out in theaters, fans all over the world are crying over the thought of it really being the final one.
Even though the famous movie director recently said that there are about 600 different versions of the movie, fans of Florence + The Machine said that there was one part that made them feel more emotional.
We all know how important music is to a movie. Imagine Star Wars without the theme song. It would just be pointless.
But “Dog Days Are Over” by Florence + the Machine is a song that managed to capture the hearts of Guardians fans all over the world.
The 2008 song is one of the last ones you hear in the movie, and without giving you any spoilers, it’s definitely one of the most uplifting moments in the movie.
Florence Welch, the lead singer, used TikTok to show her fans how emotional it made her when she saw her famous song being featured in the movie.
So I cried all the way through this movie but when the The Guardians of the Galaxy started dancing to ‘Dog Days’ I really lost it,
Florence Welch wrote in the caption.
Thank you so much for all the love for this moment.
The superhero obsessed little girl in me can’t believe it happened ♥️ x.
Fans were just as moved, as shown by what one person wrote:
DOG DAYS IS IN GUARDIANS?? this has sold my ticket.
A second added:
The moment I heard the start of the song I yelled FLORENCE in the middle of the cinema hahahaha.
While a third said:
My daughter tapped me and said ‘mom this song makes you happy, don’t cry!’
I was hysterically sobbing during this scene because they played dog days 💛,
another added.
As someone else agreed:
I was not expecting this song at the end, made me cry even more!
Well, even the plot summary for the movie is pretty sad on its own:
Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own.
If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
