Gwen Stefani is cheering on her spouse Blake Shelton as he completes his 2023 Back to the Honky Tonk tour!
On March 25, the “Hollaback Girl” singer-songwriter surprised the audience at Shelton’s performance in Buffalo, New York, by performing No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak,” as well as two of her collaborations with the country star “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere.”
Gwen Stefani, 53, joined Shelton, 46, halfway through his performance on the final night of his tour to perform No Doubt’s signature song with him on guitar.
Before launching into “Don’t Speak,” the “God’s Country” performer informed the audience about working on his guitar abilities and licks from “Sweet Home Alabama” as well as a Garth Brooks song.
The audience applauded as Stefani entered the stage to perform the Grammy-nominated 1996 song, crooning the lyrics: “Don’t speak, I know exactly what you’re saying / So, please stop explaining / Don’t tell me ’cause it hurts.”
“Hello, this is Gwen Stefani!” According to a YouTube fan video, Shelton excitedly informed the audience after the performance.
After singing “Nobody But You,” the couple shared a sweet embrace and kiss before walking to the back of the stage to deliver a rendition of “Happy Anywhere.”
Shelton discussed spending time at home with Stefani in a December cover story interview with us.
“Gwen and I have done so much traveling, touring, and work in the first half of our lives that now we’re like, ‘Hey, I’m good to put on my sweatpants at 6 p.m. and watch Ozark eight times,'” he explained at the time. “That’s our new life, and we love it.”
