Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her two A-list ex-boyfriends, Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. While Affleck was ‘technically superior in bed,’ the ‘Iron Man’ actress admitted that Pitt was the better actor.
Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, was put on the spot during an interview with Alex Cooper on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast. She started dating Brad in 1994, but their engagement ended in 1997 because she thought she was too young for marriage at the age of 24. She later dated Ben for three years.

Giving a series of straightforward answers, Gwyneth answered who was better in the bedroom, saying: “That’s really hard. Because Brad was like the major chemistry, love of your life at the time. And then Ben was technically excellent. I can’t believe my daughter’s listening to this.”
When asked who she regarded as the better actor of the two, she said, “They’re both so talented. And Ben is a great writer and director. But I guess I would probably have to say acting alone, Brad. Because if you think of all the different roles that he’s done.”

Gwyneth also revealed the answers to a number of other comparative questions, including who had a superior fashion style. “Probably Brad,” she said. “Who was more romantic?” was the next question to which she replied, “Brad.”
“Who was more likely to make you laugh?” to which she said, “Ben.”
“Who are you more likely to get into an argument with?” The GOOP entrepreneur replied, “Ben.” When it came to which man was more “high maintenance,” the actress attested to both the leading mens’ easy-going vibes. “I’m not sure I would characterize either of them as high maintenance,” she said.
“Who cared more about their appearance?” To which Gwyneth Paltrow replied, “I’m not sure. I feel like neither of them were very vain like that. I’m not attracted to guys who are like looking in the mirror the whole time. Although Ben did like having a mirror face that he would throw at the mirror. I think he was joking though.” The final question was, “Who was the better kisser?” Unable to choose, she replied, “They were both good kissers.”
Gwyneth on good terms with both Brad and Ben
The actress recently stated that she remains in contact with Brad. She told Entertainment Tonight in October 2022: “When we first broke up, we weren’t friends for a while.”
“And then we sort of found our way back, probably about 18 or 19 years ago, something like that, and then just kind of stayed in touch over the years. I adore him,” remarked Gwyneth Paltrow. “He’s an amazing person, and he’s a great entrepreneur, and such a creative, and such a good person. I really love him. I’m a big fan.”
Gwyneth Paltrow went on to marry Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin for 13 years before intentionally “uncoupling.” They had two children together, Apple, 18, and Moses, 17. Gwyneth is now married to producer Brad Falchuk, with whom she married in the Hamptons in 2018.
