Ron Nasti, former member of the USA National Team, is the owner and operator of GymNasti. He was recently honored with the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of dedicated service to the community.
Ronald J. Nasti, aged 59, from Lombard, Illinois, died on February 29, 2024, in Clearwater, Florida. He was born on December 23, 1964, in Berwyn, Illinois, to parents Joseph and Edna (nee McCallister) Nasti.

Laurie (nee Oestreich) was Ron’s surviving wife, while his sons Ryan and Brandon, along with his siblings Cindy (the late Mike) Mesik, Jimmy (Mary), Michael, Shelly (Bruce) Myers, and Jeanne (Chris) Johnson, also survived him. His parents passed away before him.
Ron is remembered as an incredible spouse, father, sibling, companion, rival, and mentor! His loved ones and the gymnastics world, which he left a lasting impression on, will deeply mourn his passing.
A closed ceremony for loved ones took place on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 2 pm at Parkview Community Church, located at 764 St. Charles Road in Glen Ellyn. A private viewing for family and friends followed from 3 pm to 8 pm.
On Saturday, March 9, there was a special event for members of the gymnastics community. The event was held at Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn which was open to the public from 3 pm to 8 pm.

Hello Everyone
We lost our Champion.
Ron left to be with God last Thursday after being very sick. We will ALWAYS remember him as a Champion! He was a Champion as a husband, father, friend, coach and as a person! He will be forever missed as he was loved by so many!
My request is that you honor him now. He deserves this and more. Right now please respect our family as we need to mourn as well. Again, I know you all loved him and I’m eternally grateful for your prayers. We will pass along further information shortly. Until then, please honor my forever Champion.
