What is the Storyline of Hell’s Paradise Jigokuraku?
In the Edo period of Japan, a select group of convicts awaiting execution are offered the chance to be pardoned and freed the Shogunate of Japan if they go to investigate an island recently discovered southwest of the Ryukyu Kingdom. the convicts are accompanied by elite guards to ensure they won’t escape.
Once they reach there, they find themselves overwhelmed by the island’s residents, a host of monsters and their creators, a group of immortal beings. Now the convicts and guards must work together to stop the immortals and escape the island.

What Happened in the Episode 7 of Hell’s Paradise? A Recap
In Episode 7, Toma and Chobei face a shape-shifting enemy. On the other hand, Gabimaru finds a girl whose name is Mei and also gets attacked by the tree monster.
Later in the episode, it was revealed that Mei was just a simple girl who was following the tree monster along with Gabimaru and Yuzuriha.
Then, Gabimaru, Sagiri, and Mei share a bath later in the episode. After the bath, they come back, and Sagiri finds out about changes in Gabimaru’s character, suggesting development and personal growth on the island.
