High School Musical 4 release confirmed
After Disney channel announced the renewal of High School Musical, Channel President Gary Marsh confirmed the film as a part of Disney Channel’s DNA.
Gary Marsh further added,
“It embodies all that we stand for. As a way of continuing to embrace that heritage, we’re excited to announce ‘the start of something new’ as we launch a search for a new class of East High Wildcats to star in a fourth instalment of the ‘High School Musical’ franchise.”
According to a report by E! News, Disney channel officially announced the comeback of Wildcats of East High in High School Musical 4. The rivals West High Knights has also secured its position in the fourth installment of the High School Musical franchise.
High School Musical 4 brings a new set of cast
High School Musical 4 release is assuredly happening no matter what. However, confirmed details reveal the landing of a new set of the cast for the fourth installment. Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Ashley Tisdale are reportedly reprising their roles. Nonetheless, there are going to be new additions in the cast.
The High School Musical 4 new cast will feature Matt Cornett (E.J), Olivia Rodrigo (Nini), Joshua Bassett (Ricky), and Sofia Wylie (Gina).
High School Musical 4: The commencement of the filming
High School Musical 4 is planned to be filmed at North Penn High School. The principle of the school, Mr. Pete Nicholson confirmed the news by publishing an article on the school’s official website.
Principle Pete Nicholson’s article said,
“This is so exciting for NPHS and the district! We have a long and distinguished tradition in the arts and drama and now, to have the honor of forever being connected to a musical about high school and it’s just amazing.”
Mr. Pete Nicholsan revealed that the filming of High School Musical 4 will began in 2020. With this filming schedule, fans can anticipate the release of High School Musical 4 by late 2021 or early 2022.
