Homeopathy is very common among people and all of you must have definitely resorted to it at least once in your life. But have you wondered how effective it is?
The National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia did not find any evidence that Homeopathy worked. In 2010, a report was published by the UK House of Commons Science and Technology which observed that no credible evidence could be found regarding the efficacy of homeopathy.
The consultation method used by Homeopathy is unique. German Physician Samuel Hahnemann started this medicine back in the eighteenth century. At that time, the patients were lured to it as it was completely painless.

- Famous personality like James Randi has gone to quite some extent to prove the point. He took the entire bottle of Homeopathic sleeping pills and shockingly, nothing happened.
- Dr Shantanu Abhyankar redid his class 12th in allopathy after studying homeopathy for a year. He called homeopathy “Unscientific, Pseudoscientific and even anti-scientific”.
- Some reports showed that Homeopathy has benefits in case of rheumatoid arthritis patients. However, it showed effects after six months and had to be taken along with conventional medicine.
Homeopathy medicine works on three basic fundamentals. These include like cures like, potentization and water retains the memory of the extract. Research has shown that people are spending on medicines which may not be harmful, but they don’t work as well. What’s even worse is that people are avoiding actual medication for serious diseases as well.
