House of the Dragon has been officially in works at HBO which will serve as the prequel spinoff to Game of Thrones series. While the last season of Game of Thrones wasn’t received well by fans, everyone still loves the dragons and wants to see more of the mystical creatures. George RR Martin himself is attached to the project and it has been given a green light by the producers at HBO. Here is everything you need to know about ‘House of the Dragon’ trailer, release date, cast, plot spoilers and connection with Game of Thrones show.

House of the Dragon Cast, Plot and Game of Thrones Connection
Game of Thrones prequel Spin-off ‘House of the Dragon’ plot could revolve around the establishment of the Targaryen dynasty. Aegon Targaryen and his sisters Visenya and Rhaenys conquered the seven kingdoms with the help of their Dragons which is also known as Aegon’s conquest could be the main plotline of the show.
House of the Dragon could also span over several decades showing different Targaryen rules based on the ‘Fire and Blood’ book by GRRM. As for the cast, Naomi Watts was finalized for the other GOT spinoff ‘Bloodmoon’ which is now canceled and fans are hoping that she could be roped in to play Visenya along with Charlie Hunnam as Aegon in House of the Dragon TV series.
