Howard Stern is curious as to why conservatives have “lost their shit” about transgender actor Dylan Mulvaney‘s collaboration with Bud Light.
According to Mediaite, on Monday’s episode of SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” the radio host expressed amazement at the magnitude of the backlash and asked whether he was “missing” something.
After Mulvaney, 26, revealed her cooperation with Bud Light, the hashtag #BoycottBudLight began trending on Twitter in late March. Kid Rock, a musician, was among many who criticized the collaboration, posting a Twitter video showing himself shooting a stack of Buds in protest.
In response to the outlandish reaction to the advertisements, Stern informed listeners, “[As] long as you’re not hurting anybody, I’m on your team.”

Anheuser Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, defended its decision to work with Mulvaney, who has over 10.8 million TikTok followers, on Monday.
The beverage conglomerate, which also owns Michelob and Stella Artois, told Fox News that the collaboration will allow it to “authentically connect with audiences across various demographics and passion points.”
Meanwhile, anti-LGBTQ legislation is proliferating in state and local governments across the country. In 2023 alone, the American Civil Liberties Union has tracked 452 measures limiting the rights of LGBTQ Americans.
