The father of the Wayans family of artists, Howell Wayans, passed away at the age of 86 back in April 2023. With Elvira, Howell had a total of ten children, with the majority of them finding success in show business – Keenan Ivory, Damon, Shawn, Dwayne, Kim, Nadia, Elvira, Diedra, Vonnie, and Marlon. His passing was announced in a heartfelt tribute made by his son Marlon on Instagram.
“Thank you Pop for being an example of a Man to all your boys. I pray all young black boys can grow up to be a Man like you. Baby boy loves you. And if ever i need you i know exactly where to find you… in my Bible that now sits by bed. Rest well.”
Howell and his late wife Elvira raised their 10 children, five sons, and five daughters, in New York City. All their kids are now involved in the entertainment industry in some way. Sadly, Elvira passed away before Howell in 2020. Here are some facts about all their 10 children-

Damon Wayans
Damon got his start in comedy working on the Fox sketch program In Living Color during the early 1990s. Damon later joined Saturday Night Live. He has since gone on to have success both as an actor and a stand-up comic and continues to acquire noteworthy television roles both on and off camera.
