When Google launched Pixel 3 in the mega event, it was not at all focused on the phone’s specifications or software. Instead, it was entirely on the camera. The company just rambled on the camera’s new features and options and pitched it as its Unique Selling Proposition for the smartphone.
However, the current king in the world of smartphone photography is Huawei P20 Pro. It already has all the features which are now included in Pixel 3. Let’s have a quick look at both the models’ camera’s features and benefits.
1. In HDR+, The Huawei P20 Pro retains more of the background details and sharpen the main subject of the picture. However, some feel that it oversharpens the subject which is not the case in Pixel 3.
2. In darker shots, Pixel 3 fails to capture the details because of the lens flare. This is not the case in Huawei P20 Pro, which makes it far more superior in darker shots.

3. When it comes to super-resolution, Pixel 3 fails miserably. Sharpening, aggressive noise reduction and boasting overzealous blacks destroy the texture of the picture. The P20 Pro super-resolution image looks softer and realistic.
4. The Huawei has an upper hand in the field of Night Sight. The Night Sight feature is yet to roll out in Pixel 3.
