American reality TV personality, Larsa Pippen has expressed her thoughts about Michael Jordan‘s comment on her and his son Marcus’ relationship. When asked by a paparazzi about his thoughts on his son and Larsa Pippen’s relationship, Jordan apparently expressed that he’s not happy with their relationship.
Larsa Pippen ‘Traumatized’ By Michael Jordan’s Comment About Her Relationship
The 49-year-old Real Housewives star stated her disappointment over her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan’s father’s remarks. In a video clip shared by TMZ, Michael Jordan can be heard shouting “No!” when a paparazzi in Paris asked whether he approved of Marcus and Larsa Pippen’s relationship.
Larsa Pippen felt particularly embarrassed since she had expressed on The Tamron Hall Show that she believes that both her and Marcus’ families are happy for the couple.
“Ofcourse, I’ve recently been hanging out with them. But I don’t really wanna talk about that, I feel like it’s not about my parents or his parents. They’re all happy, our whole family is fine.”
Recently, both Marcus and Larsa spoke about Michael Jordan’s video clip disapproving of their relationship on a podcast, Separation Anxiety. Larsa shared how she felt about Jordan’s comment while Marcus tried to defend his father saying that he didn’t mean it.
“You thought it was funny, I didn’t think it was funny. There is nothing funny about it.”
“… I kinda felt like it went everywhere and I was kind of embarrassed.”
“I think people started to think that online they were saying that I was lying — that I lied and said that our parents are fine because I was doing interviews and saying both of our families are fine.”
“When I would say that, I felt like I didn’t embellish that… and I would say both of our parents want us to be happy… I do understand that it’s not awkward for us to be together because it’s us.
She further added that Jordan probably feels this way because of the relationship he shares with her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen. Larsa Pippen was traumatized nevertheless since she wondered if people might think she lied about their family’s relationship on The Tamra Hall Show.
“But it probably is awkward for my ex [Scottie Pippen] and your dad because they have their own relationship or whatever it was. I wasn’t a part of that, you weren’t a part of that. So I feel like for them it probably is weird, it probably is weird for your dad. I can’t be mad. I understand… Oh my god, I was traumatized. I was like what are we going to do, people think I lied.”
While Larsa Pippen was overwhelmed with emotions after Michael Jordan’s comments, Marcus thought it was funny. He believed that Jordan was having fun and probably had too much tequila.
“I can only assume my dad, because he loves Cincoro and he drinks tequila all the time, that he was feeling himself a little bit.”
“… I do feel like you [Larsa] were nervous but because of how often you take stock in your relationships and maybe a part of you was like am I telling you the full truth? … and simultaneously I am dying laughing.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Marcus confirmed that their relationship has got the Jordan family’s stamp of approval.
“We spent Thanksgiving together last year, and my family loves her. They think she’s great. And ultimately, I think my family just wants to see me happy. And so as long as I’m happy, they’re happy with whoever I’m dating.”
When ET’s Brice Sander asked,
“We got the Michael Jordan stamp of approval on Larsa,”
“Yeah, oh yeah,”
