The Indiana Pacers have been involved in a lot of trades this summer, but they did not make any huge moves. They are speculated to be working on their plans and are likely to hop into the market soon enough. The Pacers were not that great last season, and some changes are expected. The most important thing is that they are yet to extend Buddy Hield, and if they fail to do so, he can leave for free. So, the Pacers would like to get some return value.
The Pacers have one of the best shooters as their bargaining chip and a lot of teams are going to fall for that. Will the Pacers let their star go? Here is all the information you need about the three trades that we think the Indian Pacers can still pull off.
Raptors’ OG Anunoby to the Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Hoosiers product played 67 games for the Raptors last season and averaged 16.8 points, 2 assists, and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 38.7 percent from beyond the arc. He would be a great addition to the Raptors’ roster since he can become their two-way star. The Raptors might go ahead with the trade since they would get Buddy Hield in return.
No surprise here. The Indiana Pacers pickup the 3rd & 4th year options of Bennedict Mathurin & Isaiah Jackson’s rookie scale contracts.
They will be under contract with the Pacers through the 2024-2025 season.

Pelicans’ Dyson Daniels to the Indiana Pacers
The 20-year-old has played only one season in his NBA career and he averaged 3.8 points, 2.3 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 311.4 percent from beyond the arc in 59 games he played for the Pelicans. This deal strengthens the Pacers’ young core, but will the Pelicans let the Australian guard go?

Lakers’ D’Angelo Russell to the Indiana Pacers
The Lakers’ #1 played 17 games for them last season and averaged 17.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 41.4 percent from beyond the arc. The Lakers want to land somebody who can help their star duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Russell would make the Pacers better with his ball handling.
Will the Pacers part ways with one of the best 3-point shooters of the game? How will they line up? We’ll keep you updated.
