The creator of the Invincible series has finally revealed the reason behind the gap between Season 1 and Season 2. Fans have been wondering and waiting for the new season of Invincible for a long. Season 1 premiered on March 25, 2021. It was met with positive reviews, and the series was immediately renewed for two more seasons.
At that time, it was announced that Invincible Season 2 will premier in 2023. Since 2023 is here so what is the latest update about the same? It has been a matter of curiosity among the fans of Invincible about the release of seasons 2 and 3. Once the news about renewal was announced in 2021 there has been no update about seasons 2 and 3. A few days ago the creator of this series, Robert Kirkman finally revealed information about the same. Kirkman added that Season 2 would be released shortly. And Season 3 will follow very soon.
Invincible Season 2 & Season 3 Will be Release Within A Short Gap
Kirkman mentioned that there would not be many gaps between seasons 2 and 3. The main focus of the production team is to ensure that season 3 begins soon after season 2 ends. Talking about season 2, Robert mentioned that the work on the series is almost done and they are just busy putting on some music.

Invincible Season 2 & Season 3 Expected Release Date
The expected release date is late 2023. The teaser was released 2 months ago. the trailer will be up soon. We expect Prime Video to release a trailer by the end of May 2023. And if we go by the past trends the gap between the release of the trailer and the final movie will come out to be 2-3 months. Hence the likely date is September/October 2023
Season 3 will be released shortly after Season 1 ends. So we can expect the third season to air in early 2024. Robert mentioned in his interview that the work is almost done. They are just adding some final touches. The makers want to ensure that the expectations of the viewers are met. Well, that should definitely be the top priority since fans have waited close to 2 years to watch the series. Also, if Season 2 is not met with positive feedback, then Season 3 will also suffer.
