Test the iPhone battery for abnormalities
You can select the battery option in settings. It will lead the user to all the stats and information related to the battery like standby time, screen usage, etc.
Changes in Setting for Conserving Battery
For increasing the screen on time on your iPhone, you must turn off also those services that are not being used.
Turn off the Bluetooth
- Open Control Center
- Tap on the Bluetooth icon to turn it off
Turn off location services
Location service uses GPS, Bluetooth, and Wifi to triangulate your position which takes a huge toll on the phone’s battery.
Apps like Facebook use the location services which is generally used for serving ads. If the iPhone user doesn’t want to share his or her location info then turn off location services.
Turn off background app refresh
Background app refresh is a service that refreshes app in the background to check for recent changes in their data and notify the user. This feature also utilizer internet connection which in turn drains the battery.
Go to Setting >> General >> find and tap Background App Refresh
Tap the green button next to Background App Refresh.
Update your iPhone
Since newer update brings both performance and security enhancements to the device the phone should always be updated to the latest version.
Uninstall unnecessary apps
Even though we have more than 20 apps on an iPhone, we generally spend time on barely half of them. Other apps might be sucking juice in the background so uninstall them.
Change battery
