Summary of Boruto Episode 292
This episode left us shocked by the end of it, and we are all eager to know what happens next. Episode 292 is much of a needed cliffhanger before the finale airs on March 26th.
In the first scene, we see Momoshiki, who now controls Boruto’s body, fight with Code. Code tries to remind Momoshiki that they both have the same goal, and Kawaki is the one who is meddling in it. Momoshiki doesn’t listen and shoots Code with his compressed Rasengan. Then Kawaki and Momoshiki fight, and Momoshiki prepare to break Kawaki’s arm. Much to Kawaki’s luck, Naruto and Shikamaru arrive right on time to save him.
Kawaki is disappointed that the Hokage came out of his village and asked him to go back. Naruto answers with how it is not an appropriate thing to do as the Hokage. Seeing an opportunity, Code takes Shikamaru hostage while Naruto and Momoshiki fight. Kawaki intervenes in between their fight and reactivates his karma. He stops Momoshiki’s huge Rasengan.

Kawaki tries to kill Momoshiki
Kawaki tells Naruto that he will do anything it takes to kill the demon and starts a relentless attack on Momoshiki. He fires chakra rods that pierces Boruto’s body while using Sukunahikona and Daikokuten well. Naruto then saves Boruto and asks Kawaki about his intention to kill his son. Kawaki says that it is important that they kill Momoshiki as he is a demon. This is more important than saving Boruto.

Boruto Dies?
Momoshiki is surprised as Boruto awakens and takes control of his body. He says this was possible because of Amado’s drugs. Boruto also admits that while the drug does help partially, it is not the final solution. Kawaki and Boruto have a talk where Kawaki asks him if he remembers their previous conversation. Boruto admits to remembering it and asks Kawaki to along with the plan they had previously discussed.
Naruto becomes nervous as he has no idea what these two might end up doing. Boruto apologizes to Naruto before throwing him in the air with the help of Wind Release. In the final scene, we see Kawaki blow a hole through Boruto’s heart by punching it. Everyone is shocked as Boruto lays there on the brink of death.
