Dany may be Azor Ahai
With only a few episodes left in the Game of Thrones last season, we are looking at the main characters, trying to figure out who might be this mighty hero after all. The evidence seems to be stacking up that it may be Dany who will save humanity from a long winter.
Dany was born under just the right conditions. The conditions were predicted at the birth of the Prince. She was ‘amidst salt and smoke’ – on the island of Dragonstone. The island surrounded by the sea contained volcanic ash.

She was born at the end of a long summer, according to ASOIAF lore. Dany also awoke dragons that had been sleeping for a long time at Khal Drogo’s funeral. She revived the dragon eggs. Previously, they were believed to be dormant.
Azor Ahai is also expected to be an exceptional leader. Danerys has proven her mettle by leading hundreds of Dothraki screamers and the army of the Unsullied.
