J.K. Rowling bashed Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the press secretary of White House, with George Orwell’s 1984 quote.
The author of Harry Potter tweeted a quote from a classic dystopian novel by George Orwell after a doctored video was circulated by Sanders showing Jim Acosta, a CNN reporter, manhandling an intern in a press conference exchange with President Trump. Sanders placed false accusations on the reporter.
J.K. Rowling used this quote from Orwell’s novel that told a tale about how the lurking totalitarian dictator controlled the society. The author’s fans couldn’t agree more with her and the response to her tweet totally reflected upon it. One of the tweets read that 1984 is used as a playbook by them and many people can notice this as almost everyone has read this in school.
