Why would the Dallas Mavericks like to trade Jaden Hardy?
The Mavericks already have a star-studded squad. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic might never let the opportunities come to Hardy with their consistent and top-notch performances.
It’d be great for both player and the team to part ways so that Hardy doesn’t end up warming benches at the Dallas Mavericks. Christie is a great player and will learn and improve with time. The Mavericks are getting a good Bargain for their 21-year-old as of now.

Why would the Los Angeles Lakers like to have Jaden Hardy in their squad?
The Lakers do have their stars as well, but their presence wouldn’t hinder Hardy’s growth. LeBron is nearing retirement, and the Lakers would like to bet on somebody for the future.
Hardy will get more playtime there. He will be making the Lakers’ offense more efficient. The Lakers have been building a young squad, and Hardy will fit right in there and might become the best of those.
