The Philadelphia 76ers have finally agreed to trade James Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Sixers’ star guard wish is finally getting fulfilled after waiting for a long time.
Harden didn’t join the Sixers during the training camp on October 17th, which made the Sixers trade him to his desired destination.
Los Angeles Clippers to Acquire James Harden: Trade Deal Confirmed!
James Harden requested his trade to the Clippers in June this year. However, the Sixers were not agreeing on a trade deal with the Clippers, as they wanted to add Terance Mann from the Clippers’ roster.
While the Clippers didn’t want to move Mann for Harden. The trade deal was stuck, and things became chaotic after Harden didn’t join the Sixers’ practice session on October 17th.

Harden also called Sixers’ general manager, Daryl Morey, “a liar,” but still, the franchise wanted to retain him for the title run. However, Harden not appearing in the training camp made the Sixers move him to the Clippers.
Now, it seems like Harden will finally be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski.
As per the latest tweet by Wojnarowski, Harden’s trade deal has been revealed. Here is the trade package that the Clippers are offering to the Sixers in return for James Harden.
Clippers to Land Harden – The Trade Package
- The Philadelphia 76ers will receive Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, Nic Batum, KJ Martin, a 2028 first-round draft pick (unprotected), two second-round draft picks, and a swap pick.
- The Los Angeles Clippers will receive James Harden, Filip Petrusev, and PJ Tucker.
Apart from the future picks, the Clippers have also given the option for an additional first-round pick for a third team to the Sixers.
The Clippers are sending the Sixers a 2028 unprotected first-round pick, two second-round picks and a pick swap, sources tell ESPN. The Clippers are also routing the 76ers an additional future first-round pick from a third team.

While Harden was on the trading block for a long time, and his value was at an all-time low, he is a player with high demand in the league.
Why Do the Sixers Want This Trade Deal Without Terance Mann in the Package?
The Sixers are getting a great deal in return for James Harden. Even though they are not getting Mann in this deal, they will receive some valuable draft capital. Alongside, they are also getting some quality players like Morris and Batum.
