Jason Michael Cauchi, also known as Jax Taylor, was born on July 11, 1979, in Shelby Township, Michigan. He was raised in a Catholic family with his mother, Marie, his father, Ronald, and his sister, Jenny Lynn. Unfortunately, Ronald lost his battle with cancer in 2017.
During his younger years, Taylor used to go to church, but at the age of 19, he stopped attending. He completed his education at Eisenhower High School in 1998 and also briefly attended Michigan State University and a community college before deciding to join the Navy. He served for four years in the Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.
Career
Between 2002 and 2010, Jax Taylor worked as a model in Europe and lived in a Miami apartment with four other male models, one of whom was future movie sensation Channing Tatum. Jax joined Ford Models in NYC and was featured in several magazines, often appearing on the cover, such as “Esquire,” “Cosmopolitan,” and “Men’s Health.”
He was also featured in advertisements for popular brands such as Macy’s, Target, Sketchers, Taco Bell, and various others. Jax and Brittany revealed in September 2020 that they were anticipating the arrival of a baby boy in April 2021. Before this, Jax Taylor had a tumultuous relationship with fellow “Vanderpump Rules” cast member Stassi Schroeder, whom he allegedly was unfaithful to with co-star Kristen Doute.
