Jennifer Eve Garth, better known as Jennie Garth, was born on April 3, 1972, in Urbana, Illinois. At the time of her birth, her parents, Carolyn and John, were each already parents to three children from previous marriages.
However, Jennie was their only child together. During her early years, she lived on a horse ranch in Illinois before relocating to Glendale, Arizona at the age of 13 with her family.
