Two days after getting badly hurt in a snowplow accident, Jeremy Renner is thanking his fans for their support.
The actor who plays Hawkeye is 51 years old. On Tuesday, he broke his silence by posting a picture from his hospital bed on Instagram.
Thank you all for your kind words. 🙏. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,
he wrote in the caption.
Jeremy Renner was taken to the hospital by helicopter after being hurt in a snowplow accident on his property in Reno, Nevada, on New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1. He had blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. He had surgery on January 2, and he stayed in the intensive care unit. At the time, his condition was critical but stable.
Tuesday, a representative said that Jeremy Renner “got rid of the snow in his driveway so that his family could leave after spending New Year’s together. He was also helping his neighbor clear the snow off his house since everyone up there had been without power for 24 hours and a lot of snow had fallen.”
So he was helping everyone in trying to clear out the snow so people could get out,
the rep added.
Renner’s representative had said earlier that day,
Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families. They are also tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.
Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, have a 9-year-old daughter named Ava Berlin.
Authorities in the area say that the actor was the only person involved in the incident. After the accident, a representative told said that “His family is with him, and he is getting great care.” Shortly after that, a source said Renner’s injuries were “extensive,” and a rep said he was still in “critical but stable condition.”
