Houston Rockets are having a hard time this NBA seasons as two of their top players are not talking to each other. In a secret feud between James Harden and Chris Paul, the Rockets had to pick one.

It was obvious that the Rockets would go with the younger Harden who was also the NBA 2018 MVP. But the problems for the Rockets don’t seem to end, as they have to extend Harden’s contract for a massive $228 million deal.
It had emptied their cap space and they also need a new player to be paired alongside Harden. Jimmy Butler from the Philadelphia 76ers would be a perfect match for them, but he won’t come out cheaper. It is why the Houston Rockets is looking to trade some players to the Knicks, Clippers or Celtics, in order to get Jimmy Butler.
New York Knicks
The New York Knicks is the first team that comes to our minds for a better trade deal as they have the highest money in their cap space. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are their likely target, out of which Irving may join the Brooklyn Nets. It makes the Knicks look out for one more max player, and Eric Gordon and Clint Capela from the Rockets can be a good fit. A deal between the Rockets and the Knicks can help them both and Jimmy Butler can be signed with the money, the former gets.
Los Angeles Clippers
Los Angeles Clippers is a similar team which has a lot of money and is looking for some big names. If Kawhi Leonard decides to re-sign with the Toronto Raptors, it could be trouble for the Clippers. They need some big star players to give their team new energy. The Houston Rockets could offer them Chris Paul, which has previously played for the Clippers. There are very fewer chances for a deal, but it could get the job done for the Rockets.
Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are already looking for Clint Capela and even they need new players as most of their team members are leaving. Kyrie Irving, Al Horford, and Aaron Baynes have decided to be free agents and leave the Celtics.
It means that the Celtics could easily have Clint Capela, Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker and even Chris Paul as they have a lot of money. As per the estimate, the Celtics would have around $34 million in their cap space, and the Rockets would try their best to make a deal and use the money to get Jimmy Butler.
