The Philadelphia Sixers’ center Joel Embiid is likely to get traded to the Toronto Raptors this offseason. The Sixers are in a mess right now; both of their stars want to leave the team. All of it started when Damian Lillard requested a move to the Heat on the first day of the transfer window. James Harden kept the trend going and asked for a trade with the Clippers, and there are speculations that if James succeeds in getting traded, Embiid might ask for a trade as well.
The Kansas Jayhawks product played 66 games for the Sixers last season and averaged 33.1 points, 4.2 assists, and 10.2 rebounds per game while shooting 33 percent from beyond the arc. The Raptors are in the middle; they can either blow their roster and start from scratch or they can land a superstar to change the dynamics of their squad. Can they have enough assets to land the 29-year-old? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Toronto Raptors and the Philadelphia Sixers involving Joel Embiid.
What would the Raptors offer for Joel Embiid?
The Raptors are expected to offer Jakob Poeltl, Chris Boucher, Thaddeus Young, Scottie Barnes, Gradey Dick, Precious Achiuwa and one first-round pick each from the year 2026 and 2028 in exchange for the Sixers’ #21. If the player is put on the market, multiple teams are expected to bid for him. Can the Raptors outbid the likes of Oklahoma City Thunder, who have got a lot of draft picks?

Why would the Raptors like to sign Joel Embiid?
It was expected that the Raptors would send Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby away this summer, but if they are going to make a blockbuster signing, they would prefer keeping the star power they want. This deal makes the Raptors a strong title contender if they choose to build around Embiid.

1st- Joel Embiid with 728.

Why would the Sixers trade-off Joel Embiid?
The Sixers do not want to part ways with the reigning MVP, and they are trying everything in their power to keep him. They are getting a lot of players and draft picks, which would help them in rebuilding if they have to go through that phase.
Will the Sixers send James to his desired destination? How will the Raptors line up next season? We’ll keep you updated.
